GRACE FOUNDATION SYMPOSIUM – May 2016

$2.5K
The subgroup “healing the story of money” within the World Council gathering was a discrete Grace Foundation symposium, uniting longstanding and new supporters of the Healing Biotope vision. In an atmosphere of intimate global friendship a field of trust could be established quite quickly among the participants, which gave rise to deep layers of conversation and consciousness work. We took the time to dive into the cultural wounds around wealth, money, power and responsibility – part of our very personal conditioning and thus aspects of the monetary system as a whole.

Highlights/Outcomes:

– We feel the creation of trust to be part of the successful outcomes of this Grace Foundation symposium. Trust and transparency in essential areas of our lives – love, money, power, sexuality – are core components of life in future Healing Biotopes. The trust created among all of us in this is of deep value for us and our future work. Thank you!
– Among the participants were four heirs of big European and American financial lineages. As we touched on questions of responsibility and stewardship, the call for liberation of these financial lineages into meaningful service for a new culture was a central piece of our working process. This is not to be understood as a “concrete project,” but is perceived by many as an important task of transforming money in our times.

– We want to mention by name and thank Gigi Coyle and Krystyna Jurzykowski for their roles, being wholehearted supporters and carriers of these 3 days. They strongly contributed to the atmosphere of “intimate global friendship” with their profound experience and heart in these fields of work.
“What is needed in support for The Grace Foundation right now?” became a shared question towards the end of the event, and gave rise to a beautiful spirit of gifting. $15K of seed money for the Blueprint200 project was gifted, with pledges for further support once the project moves into its manifestation phase. (The fundraising and support of Blueprint200 will be a key focus of The Grace Foundation in 2017.) Also an annual donation of £20K over 10 years towards The Grace Foundation was pledged, following the much appreciated idea of continuous support rather than large sums of one-off donations. The spirit of these donations showed us the power of true alliance and shared questions when working with money, in high contrast to conventional fundraising
